Carbon Literacy Training Day at the English National Ballet.

We had an absolutely wonderful group of Unique Venues of London members join us for our latest Carbon Literacy Training Day.

Huge thanks to the English National Ballet for being such incredible hosts, and looking after us so well.

What is Carbon Literacy?
It’s about understanding the carbon impacts of our daily activities and gaining the skills to reduce them. Our course is specifically designed to tackle the unique challenges faced by events and venue teams—from managing heritage buildings to the logistics of high-end catering—ensuring the content is relevant, relatable, and actionable for our industry.

It was inspiring to see professionals across Front of House, Operations, Commercial Venue Hire, Sales, and Event Planning engaging with such a crucial topic. We loved hearing the valuable insights and perspectives from this cohort.

This session included a brilliant mix of learners from English National Ballet, Moving Venue Caterers, and Event Concept, and it was great to see London Wildlife Trust and Spencer House back with us again as they continue their sustainability journeys.
